Female android walk cycle

A short walk cycle i have done after following a digital tutors modeling tutorial. i managed to rig it myself, my aim was to animate her walking in a human feminine way but also keeping the fact that she is a robot in mind when i animated her.
any critique or suggestions is very welcome

cheers

shes walking quite fast and there isnt any sort of swaying of the hips etc (if youre aiming for a very feminine walk) and it seems a little bit jerky but that might be me

the only things moving are the legs and the arms. no neck/torso/head movement at all. certainly looks robotic. it also looks unnatural.
also, the snap in the knee on foot contact is a little weird.
it's a good start to a solid walk cycle, though.

Well don't get too down. Walkcycles are extremely difficult, especially if you want it to look right. I know I was happy when I finally got an A in animation school with my walkcycle. They are hard to do but what I can tell you is, take out your webcam or something and film yourself walking. Then take that into QT or whatever you have so that you can scrub through the frames and see how you walk.

That way you can have a good, solid foundation for laying out your keyframes based on the various posing throughout the cycle. Watch how your legs move, hips and shoulders...arms, hands and head. Watch the overlapping action throughout. What you will want to do is layout your blocking poses first and then slowly work your way through the rest of it, adding in your drag and overlapping action.

Sounds more difficult than it is but you will get it. Oh, and if you're going to rig something to animate, make sure you add all the controls the first time so you can get it right instead of having to redo it. The walk cycle you have is a good start. Now it's time to rock it. Good luck.
