Vw scirocco

Something of a homecoming thread. Ok I haven't actually been anywhere , but I haven't posted much here lately , least of all wips.
Modelling cars has always been a dream hobby of mine. Having been stuck in worthy but rather dull employment for most of my life I've always been envious of those people who combine their passion with their job.
To be at least considered for some sort of employment in this field , even at the most basic level , would be a small but important achievement for me.
However after spending some considerable time at cg-cars , sektor-41 etc , and after some disappointing results in sm-cars competitions , I realise my skills are sadly lacking.
So I've come back to my spiritual 3d home to hopefully make a complete scene - modelled , textured and rendered with as wide ranging input as possible. I dont think there's many better places than this to do that.
So here we go - a new model VW Scirocco. There's plenty of wips of this car springing up on other forums but this will be my wire completely. Any comments will be gratefully received and constructive advice will be taken on board.

Thanks guys , I think the spacing of the wires on the bonnet could be better.
Always nice to take a step back and look at it objectively.

Nice start. I think the space where the logo goes is a bit too big.

Done a lot of refinement on the front and started to rough out more of the body.

Looking very clean.

One thing you probably won't be able to notice from the pictures, is the VW badge on the bonnet is actually sunken in slightly.

Just in case you hadn't noticed

welcome back rainycat

the car is looking very nice. solid edge loops, no odd shapes that stick out in your mesh. nicely spaced edges. definately onto a clean car here mate. good stuff
