[Max] Ammo Belt Animation
by Flux 03-03-2009, 04:27 AM

I was going to just write this up but there's a number of visual steps and a bunch of people showed some interest so made a vid. Let me know what you think:

Rapidshare - AmmoBelt_tut.mp4 (H.264), 11.2MB, 1280x763, Audio, 4mins 14secs

The settings used are a bit random so could prolly use some tweaking.

If the belt needs to hit stuff, then just make a low poly mesh of the object and add it into the cloth mod as a collision object.

I owe you a rep... honestly I should be able to give more. I can understand not giving people reps in the same thread or even on the same day. But if people keep doing stuff that is rep worthy I should be able to give them more!!!

That was totally awesome.

I was watching the video nearing the end and thought: "Get a move on, it's nearly over" and then *bam* instant awesomeness in the blink of an eye.
