MT6 – Tie Fighter Creation in 3ds Max Sponsor Member Tutorial

This tutorial shows the complete rapid development of a mid-poly Tie Fighter Interceptor using 3ds Max 2011. You will build the complex forms needed for this distinctive shape and assembly and optimize it for both game model level and for the purposes of visualization.

After using 3ds Max 2011 for production of the model it is exported in OBJ format with material groups in place to the 15 day trial of Keyshot (Available from http://www.keyshot.com) where it is set up to produce a pleasing fast real time render with HDRI lighting and realistic applied materials.
